Week 13 Oceanliner Project Part 08 – Spring 2012 DARTG178 Intro to Web Design

This week we continue working on our Oceanliner.com web site adding in SPRY items like tabs. We also cover how to embed video using YouTube and Vimeo, Google Calendars, Google Maps and how to set up Google Web Fonts on the site template.

Week 11 Oceanliner Project Part 06 – Spring 2012 DARTG178 Intro to Web Design

This week we continue working on our Oceanliner.com web site creating a spry menu and setting up the CSS for it. We also set up the editable areas and created a DWT template from our master page.

Week 12 Oceanliner Project Part 07 – Spring 2012 DARTG178 Intro to Web Design

This week we continue working on our Oceanliner.com web site using the Dreamweaver Template DWT file we created last week to build out all of our pages. We also cover Google Analytics, FAVICONS, Google Custom Search and other addons.

Week 10 WordPress Install and Setup Part 3 – Spring 2012 DARTG178 Intro to Web Design

This week we finish up our WordPress site covering how to create content with pages and posts. We also cover how to work with images and basic galleries.

We continue to set up WordPress on our own server. Working with themes and pages we build out our menu system.

This week we continue working on our Oceanliner.com web site using DIV tags and CSS. We also cover how to point a domain to a different hosting company using the name servers/DNS and how to add a domain and subdomain to your hosting account.

Week 5 Oceanliner Project Part 03 – Spring 2012 DARTG178 Intro to Web Design

This week we continue working on our Oceanliner.com web site. We cover how to slice your layout in Photoshop and cover the Save for Web and optimization of the images. We then move over to Dreamweaver setting up the site and beginning the CSS and DIV tag set up.

This week we take the Oceanliner.com Photoshop layout we created last week and build a quick site using Adobe Muse.
